Our President Gary is a VIP........

The Apex VIP Award Program was started back in March 1992, by Melbourne South East District Governor Michael Renwick, before being taken up as a National Program in late 1992. Here you see Gary being presented with his VIP Certificate by Apexian Adrian.

The Award Program works on a points system for tasks that have been achieved by the new member. The points can only be accumulated through the first 12 months of membership. When the total points achieved are 100 or more then the club submits the score card to National Office and a certificate is mailed to the club to make a presentation to the VIP recipient.

The tasks range from being inducted to attending club district state or national functions. You can gain points from making a 3 minute talk to your club members or work on a club service project or even write an article in the club dinner notice.

As you can see the VIP Award program is a great way for new members to maintain an active interest in their new club as well as feeling apart of it.
